Home Framing
Structural residential framing — walls, floors, and roofs — built plumb, level, and square across northeast Oklahoma and beyond.
Framing is the skeleton of every home. Get it wrong and every trade behind you — plumbers, electricians, insulators, drywall, finish carpenters — pays for it. Get it right and the whole build goes smoother, faster, and tighter.
Artisan Framing has been setting residential frames across northeast Oklahoma for more than 20 years. We work from your blueprints or engineered plans and deliver framing that is plumb, level, square, and built to code — the first time.
What Home Framing Includes
- Foundation mudsill and pressure-treated sill plate installation
- First and second floor joist systems and sub-floor framing
- Exterior and interior load-bearing and non-load-bearing wall framing
- Door and window rough openings with correct headers and jack studs
- Staircase rough framing
- Roof framing — conventional stick framing and truss setting
- Roof sheathing and dry-in preparation
- Structural blocking, fire blocking, and backing
Stick Framing vs. Truss Setting
We handle both. Stick-framed roofs give architectural flexibility — cathedral ceilings, complex roof lines, and custom profiles that trusses can't achieve. Engineered trusses are faster to set and work well for standard production builds. We'll discuss the tradeoffs for your specific project and deliver whichever system your plans call for.
Who We Work With
Artisan Framing works with general contractors, custom home builders, and owner-builders across our 60-mile service area. We're familiar with the permit and inspection process in multiple Oklahoma counties and can coordinate directly with your GC or project manager to hit schedule milestones.
Why Our Framing Matters to Every Trade Behind You
A plumb wall is a fast drywall job. A square rough opening is a window that seals right on the first try. Correct header sizing means no sagging or settling. The framers set the tolerance for every trade that follows. We take that responsibility seriously — and it shows in 20 years of repeat business from contractors who've learned that firsthand.
